Lentil Soup -- Fakes Soupa |

Ingredients |

1/2 lb. Lentils 1 sliced Onion 2 cloves Garlic 1/2 cup Olive Oil 2 teaspoons Salt 1 Bay Leaf 3 tablespoons Vinegar

Preparation |
Wash the lentils and soak in warm water for 2 hours; drain. Add 6 cups water, onion and garlic. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer for 1/2 hour. Add olive oil, salt, bay leaf and vinegar and simmer for 10 minutes longer or until lentils are tender. |
